Caring for the main assets – the ships - is one of the core businesses of a reputable ship owner. The Ship Management division of John T. Essberger has more than 100 years of experience in keeping fleets running. Since DAL – Deutsche Afrika-Linien and John T. Essberger commenced shipping we have managed all of their owned ships. Today the managed fleet incorporates chemical tankers, bulk carriers, container ships and cement carriers, owned by the group as well as on behalf of third party interests. Our Quality Management System has been approved by Lloyd's Register of Shipping Quality Assurance Limited to the standards of ISO 9001: 2000, and the safety and environmental protection requirements of the ISM code (IMO A 741 (18)).
